Martintown North Industrial Park, 250,000 Gallon Elevated Tank and 12” Water Line

The Union County Board of Supervisors is seeking bids for the installation of a 250,000 Gallon Elevated Tank and approximately 2675 LF of C900 Water Pipe at the Martintown North Industrial Park. The project is financed by a MDA-SDG Grant and is subject to the rules and regulations thereof. The successful bidder must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act, which requires that all laborers and mechanics shall be paid at rates not less than those determined by the Department of Labor to be prevailing for the locality in which the project is located. • The project involves the installation of a 250,000 Gallon Elevated Tank and water line. • The contract documents, including drawings and specifications, are on file at the office of Elliott & Britt Engineering. • Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. • A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Union County Board of Supervisors, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an accepted Surety, in an amount equal to five percent of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities.
