Prequalification of CM for Spyglass

The City of Vancouver is seeking architect‑led consulting teams to act as the prime construction manager for two concurrent capital projects at Spyglass Place – a 2‑storey office building demolition and a parking‑lot alteration to accommodate the Cambie Street Bridge seismic upgrade. The selected firm will provide pre‑construction services (cost estimating, design coordination, permitting), manage the tendering process, and, if awarded, serve as the general contractor under a CCDC‑2 stipulated‑sum contract to deliver demolition, site improvements, and temporary modular structures while maintaining operational continuity of the remaining parking area. • Mandatory experience: at least three completed demolition or construction projects of similar scale within the City of Vancouver (institutional/light‑industrial). • Required deliverables include Class C and Class A cost estimates, 50 % and 100 % construction documents, procurement of trade bids, and full construction management services. • The scope covers demolition of a ~15,000 sq ft building, relocation of a fenced parking lot, and installation of temporary prefabricated shelters, with an overall schedule from October 2026 (pre‑construction) through August 2028 (final hand‑over).
