Install Jet-A Facility

The County of Luzerne is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the installation of a Jet-A facility at the Wilkes-Barre Wyoming Valley Airport. The successful bidder will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work for the project. The contract documents include requirements for compliance with Federally Required Contract Provisions, such as the Buy American Preference and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. • The project requires a bid bond of at least 5% of the total amount bid. • A Contract Performance Bond and a Contract Payment Bond will be required for the successful contractor. • The successful bidder must commence work with adequate force and equipment on a date specified in a written order of the Owner and complete the work within the time prescribed in the contract documents. • Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to Mary Ann Amesbury, Director of Purchasing, Luzerne County Purchasing Department.
