SUNY Upstate Medical University intends to purchase MedtronicTranscatheter Aortic Valve Products from a contract awarded by Premierpursuant to its authority under section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes thepurchases of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity in lieuof using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive processwhen justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent MedtronicTranscatheter Aortic Valve Products may, if interested, contactHoney-Beth Nelson to discuss the procurement. Equivalency must be demonstrated by meeting the clinical performance ofthe Medtronic Transcatheter Aortic Valve Products. If offering a clinicalequivalent, the vendor must provide free supporting clinicaldocumentation, and equipment for examination, demonstration, and trial.Vendor must be authorized to sell Medtronic Transcatheter Aortic ValveProducts as listed on the Premier contract or approved equivalent. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §139 j&k, AKA theLobbying Law. Therefore, vendors are cautioned that the only permissiblecontact for this procurement is the individual listed below.
