Description
The US Air Force is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide hot-mix asphalt, tack, and prime coats for a project at Avon Park Air Force Range in Florida. The contractor will be required to provide approximately 8,001 tons of hot-mix asphalt and 8,072 gallons of bituminous tack and prime coats. The work is expected to take place from May 2026 to October 2026. The contractor will also be required to provide field and laboratory quality control testing.
* The contractor must be able to produce a minimum sub-lot of 500 tons of HMA during one 8-hour workday.
* The contractor must be able to provide deliveries during nights and weekends when requested.
* The contractor must adjust mixing temperatures to accommodate haul and wait times.
* The delivery destination for the HMA and Bituminous Tack and Prime Coats shall be Hotel Taxiway, located on Avon Park Air Force Range, Avon Park, FL.
