Magic Mountain Parkway Beautification - Phase I REBID2

The City of Santa Clarita is seeking bids for the Magic Mountain Parkway Beautification - Phase I REBID2 project. The project involves adding a raised center median, curbs, and gutters along approximately 2,500 feet of Magic Mountain Parkway between Tourney Road and Avignon Drive. Additionally, the project includes an asphalt concrete overlay over approximately 5,750 feet of Magic Mountain Parkway between Tourney Road and McBean Parkway. The raised median will be landscaped and constructed to capture rain as well as the runoff from the street. • The project requires a Class A License. • The project is subject to prevailing wage compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. • The project requires a bid bond of at least 10% of the total value of the bid. • The project requires a faithful performance bond and a labor and material bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. • The project has an engineer's estimate of $7.6 million.
