E.K.ATWOOD PARK PAVILION CONSTRUCTION SOLICITATION

The County of Cameron is seeking a qualified contractor to design and construct a new pavilion complex at E.K. Atwood Park (Phase II). The project includes five covered pavilion structures with picnic tables, public restrooms and shower facilities, community rinse stations, two ADA‑accessible dune walkovers, extensive parking (approximately 186 vehicle spaces, including ADA and food‑truck stalls), and associated site work such as demolition, grading, utility installation, mechanical/electrical systems, landscaping, signage, and compliance with dune‑protection and flood‑plain regulations. The contract will be awarded on a sealed‑bid basis, with a substantial‑completion deadline of 12 months from notice to proceed. • Construct five large, covered pavilions with associated amenities (restrooms, showers, rinse stations). • Provide ADA‑compliant dune walkovers, parking (≈ 186 spaces) and related circulation improvements. • Perform demolition, structural, MEP, landscaping, and site‑utility work while meeting Davis‑Bacon wage rates, FEMA flood‑plain rules, and Texas dune‑protection requirements.
