Description
The City of Bloomingdale is soliciting sealed proposals for Phase 1 of the Taylor Park Improvements project. The scope includes demolition and removal of an existing concrete basketball court, disposal of debris, and construction of new concrete sidewalks linking the ball field bleacher, dugout, batting cage, playground, concessions stand, and offices. All work must comply with Georgia public park standards, be completed within 60 calendar days, and begin within 10 days after a notice to proceed. A mandatory pre‑bid conference is scheduled for 12 Nov 2026. Bids are due 30 Nov 2026; award will occur at the City Council meeting on 5 Dec 2026.
• Demolition of existing basketball court and related structures
• Installation of concrete sidewalks per attached plans (NIGP 91347)
• Required permits, insurance, and compliance with ASTM concrete standards
• 10 % retainage held, $500/day liquidated damages for late completion
• Contractor must coordinate with City Recreation to minimize park disruption.
