Delaware Technical Innovation Program (DTIP) Transition Grants for SBIR/STTR Recipients

• Program offers transition grants up to $50,000 for companies between SBIR/STTR Phase I and Phase II • Key Eligibility Requirements: 1. Must have won Phase I SBIR/STTR award and submitted Phase II proposal 2. Must have majority operations and physical presence in Delaware 3. Must have fewer than 100 full-time equivalent employees 4. Must benefit Delaware's economy and maintain/provide local employment • Eligible Expenses: - Personnel salaries (between Phase I and II only) - Scientific research - Patent applications - Market research - Product planning/development - Business plan development • Application Requirements: - Three years of financials - Current Delaware business/professional licenses - Good standing status in Delaware - Maximum of 5 DTIP grants allowed within a 10-year period • Applications available on business.delaware.gov/incentives/ or through regional business managers
