Description
The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities, Water Division is seeking bids for the purchase, installation, and training of a new Hydrant Thaw Trailer. The trailer must meet specific requirements, including a Conquest SE or equal flat top V-nose color white enclosed trailer, a Hotsy Model #1265SSD pressure washer system, and a 150-gallon water storage tank. The successful bidder must deliver the trailer to 910 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215, and provide on-site service within 24 hours of receiving a service call.
• The trailer must be 6' wide x 6' tall x 10' long, not including the V-nose section.
• The trailer must have a 5200lb axle with easy lube hubs and 15" 6-lug wheels with ST225/75R15D 8-ply tires.
• The trailer must have trailer brakes with a battery, switch, and break-away lanyard.
• The pressure washer system must include a Hotsy Model #1265SSD, a Kubota Z602-E4B diesel motor, and a Cox Reels #SM12-3-100 high-pressure hose reel.
• The water storage tank must be at least 150 gallons and made of high-quality polyethylene.
• The successful bidder must provide a detailed attachment identifying the manufacturer, model name, and number of the equipment offered.
