Community Land Trust

The City of Bradenton, through its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), is seeking a qualified non-profit agency to develop and manage a Community Land Trust (CLT) program. The CLT will support and preserve affordable housing by acquiring property for affordable housing. The selected agency will be expected to have obtained the Community Land Trust certification administered by the Florida Community Land Trust Institute prior to execution of the final agreement. The scope of work includes reviewing relevant City documents, providing legal and regulatory compliance, developing a strategic financial plan, and creating a community engagement plan. The agency will also be responsible for hiring staff, developing a business plan, and providing a detailed narrative describing the process for identifying and preparing prospective homebuyers.
