Description
Erie County is seeking a qualified public accounting firm to perform a comprehensive suite of external audit services for fiscal years 2026‑2028 (with optional extensions through 2030). The work includes annual financial‑statement audits, Single‑Audit (A‑133) reporting, departmental certification audits, bond‑related due‑diligence, management‑letter preparation, and training seminars. The firm must adhere to GAGAS and GAAP, collaborate with the County Comptroller and Audit Committee, and meet strict insurance and staffing requirements. Evaluation will be weighted heavily toward total fee (60 %) and also consider local staffing, experience, peer‑review, and technical capability.
