Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the fact that it is a Firm Fixed Price contract. The total payment will depend on the contractor's proposed price, which must be complete and reasonable. The government will evaluate the total proposed price to determine whether it is fair and reasonable using the price analysis techniques in FAR 12.204(a). Given the complexity of the contract and the requirement for specialized external quality assurance (EQA) / proficiency testing (PT) panels, the budget could be in the range of $500,000 to $2,000,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the contractor will need to invest in research and development, personnel, and equipment to meet the requirements of the contract.
