Description
The City of Madison is seeking qualified contractors to redevelop Cypress Spray Park at 902 Magnolia Lane. The scope includes demolition of existing amenities, extensive site grading, utility upgrades (storm‑sewer, water service laterals, drinking‑fountain), concrete paving, installation of a Vortex‑manufactured splash‑pad system with associated controls, new playground equipment with poured‑in‑place rubber surfacing, shade structures, benches, picnic tables, bike racks, landscaping, tree protection, and required erosion‑control measures. The project is a best‑value public‑works contract with a 6 % Small Business Enterprise goal and a 5 % bid‑bond requirement. The contract award will be based on technical compliance, SBE participation, and cost competitiveness.
