MS6-M26003 - 2026 Street Maintenance - Phase 3

The City of Lawrence is seeking bids for comprehensive street and sidewalk improvements at multiple locations throughout the city. The project scope includes curb and gutter replacements, sidewalk and ADA ramp upgrades, concrete pavement installation and patching, asphalt pavement patching, microsurfacing, and a 2-inch mill and overlay with new pavement markings. The major quantities include approximately 28,000 square yards of milling, 3,000 tons of asphalt, 14,000 square yards of microsurfacing, 11,000 linear feet of curb and gutter, and 1,100 square feet of ADA ramps. The contractor must ensure that no closures of driveway access points are permitted at any location on the project from May 16, 2026, through July 19, 2026, and no impacts to vehicular or pedestrian traffic shall be permitted along or directly adjacent to Louisiana Street during the same period. • The project involves multiple locations throughout the City of Lawrence. • The contractor must comply with the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and not discriminate against any person in the performance of work under the contract. • The contractor must include the phrase "equal opportunity employer" in all solicitations or advertisements for employees. • The contractor must report to the Kansas Human Rights Commission in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 44-1031 and amendments thereto. • The City Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informalities.
