Design Services - Rehabilitation of the Nassau County Supreme Court Building Envelope

Request for Proposals RFP No. PW- B90611-27D The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services in connection with the following: Design Services - Rehabilitation of the Nassau County Supreme Court Building Envelope The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work’s Building Department for the rehabilitation of the building envelope (façade, mechanical bulkhead, windows and roof) at the Nassau County Supreme Court building located at 100 Supreme Court Drive in Mineola, NY 11501. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a four (4) year Agreement with the County. Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The proposer shall be required to comply with a good faith effort minimum of 15% MWBE goal and good faith effort minimum of 2% SDVOB goal for this project and with the requirements of Local Laws No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts,” and 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts.” All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local law No. 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002 and Local Law 2-2016.
