Description
The University of South Carolina is seeking qualified firms to perform a comprehensive renovation of the historic USC War Memorial (approximately 6,836 SF). The scope includes hazardous material abatement, restoration of masonry, windows, doors, plaster, terrazzo, and decorative finishes, as well as installation of a new elevator, stair, HVAC, sprinkler systems, and utility connections. This is a design‑bid‑build project and all documents are available online.
• Hazardous material removal and full exterior/interior restoration of a historic building.
• Installation of new vertical transportation (elevator) and full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Requires expertise in historic preservation, abatement, and new construction integration.
