Sidewalk Improvement Program FY25-26

The City of Laguna Niguel is seeking bids for the Sidewalk Improvement Program FY 25-26. The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, incidentals, and transportation to demolish and dispose of existing curb ramps, construct curb ramps, spandrels, sidewalk, and curb and gutter as located in Appendix A and listed in Appendix B of the specifications. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days, not including material procurement, from the date of the Notice to Proceed with Construction Activities, anticipated to start in February 2026. The project is funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and is subject to federal labor standards provisions, including prevailing wage requirements. • The project includes the construction of 18 curb ramps at various locations in the city. • The contractor shall protect private improvements and remove and replace 1' wide asphalt patches. • The contractor shall construct retaining curb in the back of the sidewalk, if necessary. • The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. • The contractor shall comply with all labor compliance requirements under the contract and applicable law.
