Description
The University is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the existing commercial dishwashing system in the Commons Building, including demolition of the current equipment and complete installation of a new high‑capacity dishwasher, pulper/extractor, tray accumulator, and associated conveyor, sorting tables, and soak sinks. The scope also covers all required plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire‑stop, and exhaust work, as well as testing, commissioning, and owner training.
• Demolition and removal of existing dishwashing machine, pulper/extractor, and tray accumulator.
• Supply and install new Champion dishwasher, Bi‑Line pulper, and tray accumulator with supporting mobile equipment.
• Coordination of new plumbing, electrical, and exhaust connections; field verification of utilities; and full system testing and training.
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local codes (IBC, NFPA, Maryland health and building codes).
• Project schedule: on‑site work May 20 – July 2 2027, with a 5 % retainage and a 2‑year warranty on installed equipment.
