42 OSS - Fire Bottles for Flightline Operations

The 42nd Contracting Squadron is seeking information from industry to procure ten new fire bottles for flightline operations. The required fire bottles must be 150-lbs, pressurized with Novec 1230 chemical, and have a wheeled design. The Amerex Model 775 is specified as meeting all the requirements. The fire bottles will be used for initial firefighting equipment on the flightline and must be compatible with the end user's existing equipment inventory. • The fire bottles must be brand new, as refurbished items are not authorized. • The contractor must provide any Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard commercial warranty applicable to the products being purchased at no additional cost to the Government. • The contractor must provide written procedures, points of contact within the company, and required information for all warranty services prior to project acceptance.
