The opportunity is for the manufacture of a butterfly valve. The contractor must meet all requirements specified in the contract/purchase order, including quality assurance and packaging. The valve must be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N, 16 NOV 2012. The contractor is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements. • The contractor must provide an email address for follow-up communications. • The contractor must notify the Procurement Contracting Officer of any changes in design, material, servicing, or part number. • The contractor must furnish a drawing and explanation for any substituting/replacement item. • The contractor must comply with all applicable documents, including MIL-STD-2073 packaging. • The contractor must provide proof of being an authorized distributor if desired to be considered as a potential source for award of this contract.
