Description
The Bay Arenac ISD is seeking bids for a dining room addition and interior renovations project. The project includes the construction of a new dining room and the renovation of existing spaces. The work will involve site clearing, earthwork, concrete, masonry, metals, wood and plastics, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, and specialties. The project also includes the installation of new electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. The bidder is required to provide a lump sum bid for the project, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.
Some key aspects of the project include:
• A mandatory pre-bid conference on March 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
• A bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount
• The bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than 100% of the contract sum
• The project includes allowances for contingency, landscaping, testing, and specialty light fixtures
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
