Description

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking white papers for the 2026 Request for White Papers: NASA SBIR Phase II Sequential Awards. The purpose of this solicitation is to determine what NASA SBIR Phase II technologies show the promise of risk reduction for key programs and what firms are capable candidates for further investment through a potential Sequential Phase II award. • The solicitation focuses on three technical need areas: 22N ASCENT Thruster Development, Responsive Access to Deep Space for Agile Missions, and Radiation-Hardened Power Components and Power Management and Distribution Tech for Surface Systems. • Firms are eligible to submit a white paper if they have a prior NASA SBIR Phase II award from Program Years 2014 to present. • The white paper should discuss the development of the proposed technology and its feasibility for the specified application. • The submission should include a high-level description of the Sequential Phase II Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) plan, technical objectives, work plan, key personnel, facilities/equipment, and related proposals and awards.
