Description
The City of Yuba City is seeking a contractor to provide services for the Sanitary Sewer Manhole Lining Project. The project involves the complete cementitious lining of three 48" sanitary sewer manholes at specified locations. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to comply with the special provisions, including pre-installation and post-installation activities, manhole surface repairs, active leak mitigation, inspection, testing, and cleanup activities. The contractor must also provide a sewage bypass pumping and/or diversion plan for review by the City. Key responsibilities include:
• Cleaning and preparing the manhole structure for lining
• Applying a cementitious liner to the inside of the existing structure
• Performing quality control tests, including holiday testing and uniform thickness testing
• Providing a warranty for the materials and workmanship
• Maintaining insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability insurance
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and the contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including those related to labor, safety, and environmental protection.
