FAA UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TEST SITE (UASTS) SELECTION 2.0

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking partners for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Test Site (UASTS) Selection 2.0 program. The objective of the program is to enable a broad variety of development, testing, and evaluation activities related to public and civil UAS and associated technologies, and to support the safe integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the National Airspace System (NAS). The FAA may select and designate up to two additional test sites for expansion to the existing UASTS program. • The program is open to State, Local, and Tribal (SLTT) governments. • Offerors must have a current and valid registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database. • Phase I proposals must be submitted electronically and are due by December 1, 2025, 3:00 pm ET. • The FAA will consider various geographic constructs proposed by Offerors. • Selected FAA-designated UAS Test Sites must operate according to 49 U.S.C. 44803 and other non-unique operating constructs.
