High Density Mineral Bond - Street Maintenance Project

The City of Laredo is seeking a contractor to apply a high-density mineral bond (HDMB) surface treatment to approximately 500,000 square yards of roadway surface within the city. The purpose of the project is to extend pavement life, enhance durability, and improve overall roadway performance. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, traffic control, and incidentals necessary to complete the application of HDMB seal in accordance with project specifications. Key aspects of the project include: • Applying HDMB surface treatment to designated roadways • Providing a uniform, skid-resistant surface that seals the pavement against oxidation, water intrusion, and surface wear • Completing the project within 120 working days • Complying with federal labor standards provision, Davis Bacon Act, Equal Opportunity Clause, Wage Determination, and HUD and Urban Development Federal Requirements • Inspecting the site of the work and informing themselves regarding all local conditions
