Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) UPGRADE for Motch Grinder Model 48CNC

The DLA-Weapons Support (RICHMOND) is seeking information from potential vendors to perform a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) upgrade for a Motch Grinder Model 48CNC. The upgrade will entail providing a FANUC 0i-TF Plus Controller, Analog Servo Controls, Servo Motors, Spindle System, Operator Pendant, and new Electrical Enclosure. The vendor will be responsible for sending all new equipment to a Government rebuild facility where the machine is currently being rebuilt to OEM standards. The vendor will also be required to verify at the Government rebuild facility and the customer's facility that all upgraded components supplied in this specification for the upgraded CNC control are in good working order. Key aspects of the project include: * Providing a FANUC 0i-TF Plus Controller and associated components * Ensuring the CNC unit provides programmable automatic control of machine functions * Meeting specific safety and health requirements, including compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 * Providing a new operator's console and remote pendant * Conducting functional testing, operational testing, and performance tests * Providing training to Government personnel on the new FANUC controls and machine operation
