Description
The US Government Publishing Office is requesting quotations for the printing of 502 pamphlets, titled "Nakamura Courthouse's Art Guide", along with one set of digital deliverables. The pamphlets should be printed in black ink, with a trim size of 5-1/4 x 8-1/8", and 32 pages (self-cover). The contractor must match the provided hard copy sample for paper, ink, photographs, overall look, and style. The digital deliverables should be a single Acrobat PDF file, optimized for press, and emailed to the agency.
The key requirements of the project include:
• Printing face and back (head to head) with type/rule matter, illustrations, and halftones in black ink only, full bleeds all pages
• Multiple pages contain crossovers which must print, register, and align across the bind
• Contractor must match provided hard copy sample for paper, ink, photographs, overall look and style
• Digital deliverables must be an exact representation of the final printed product
• Binding should be saddle stitch in 2 places on left 8-1/4" inch side, with grain running parallel to spine, and score on all folds
• Packing should be shrink wrap in units of 20, with suitable packing to ensure contents are not damaged during shipment
