AMENDED Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for NAVAIR Additive Manufacturing Capability

The DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) is conducting market research to identify parties with the resources to support the provision of advanced airworthy additive manufacturing capability and capacity to NAVAIR. The requirement includes the delivery, installation, and certification of six Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) additive manufacturing systems, as well as the ability to provide technology transfer and material property data to NAVAIR. The Period of Performance is 24 months, with the intention to complete within 18 months. • The contract will require the delivery of three M2 Series 5 machines and three M Line Series 1 machines. • The contractor must be capable of providing technology transfer and material property data to NAVAIR. • The unit prices will be established at the time of contract award. • The Government will evaluate market information to determine potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in the notice.
