Description
The City of Kenai is seeking qualified contractors to replace the flat roofs on two municipal facilities: the Animal Control Building and the Senior Center canopy. Both roofs will be removed and rebuilt using a fully‑adhered EPDM membrane system, with associated insulation, flashings, and sealants. The work includes demolition, substrate preparation, installation of the membrane, daily sealing, and final testing, and must be completed by the substantial‑completion date of October 30, 2026. The contract will require a 5 % bid bond (if the bid exceeds $100 k) and 100 % performance/payment bonds, as well as a tax‑compliance certificate and various licenses.
