Highway 18 Sewer Extension Phase 1 Construction Project

The City of Brandon is seeking bids for the construction of the Highway 18 Sewer Extension Phase 1 project. The project includes the installation of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 15” gravity sewer and associated manholes, connections, and all other necessary appurtenances. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. • The project requires the installation of gravity sewer and associated manholes, connections, and appurtenances. • The contract time is 210 consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day thereafter. • Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities. • The City of Brandon reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, or to reject any or all bids.
