Scranton Commons Roof Re-surfacing

The Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania - Bloomsburg campus is inviting general contractors and HVAC contractors to bid on the Scranton Commons Roof Re-surfacing project. The project involves resurfacing the existing modified bitumen roof with a reinforced membrane system, removing and replacing existing water-saturated roofing insulation, and performing associated roofing repairs. The work will be accomplished by separate prime contractors, with the HVAC prime contractor serving as the lead prime contractor. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on November 18, 2025. • The project requires the relocation of an existing cooling tower and associated mechanical/electrical work. • The project includes the provision of equipment curbs and pipe insulation as shown. • The project requires temporary removal and reinstallation of existing equipment as necessary for the installation of the reinforced membrane system. • The project involves replacement of existing roof copings and through-wall flashings and associated roofing repairs.
