Structural Repair Manual (SRM) Phase II NRE

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Sole-Source Delivery Order to Sikorsky, A Lockheed Martin Company, for the procurement of structural repair methodology and damage limits for the CH-53K Aircraft. The proposed contract action is justified under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, as Sikorsky is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the CH-53K aircraft and has the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data to provide the required level of supplies and services. • The contract is for the procurement of structural repair methodology and damage limits for the CH-53K Aircraft. • Sikorsky is the designer, developer, and sole producer of the CH-53K aircraft. • The Government does not possess adequate license rights to the required technical data package necessary to support a competitive procurement. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement, and the Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this synopsis.
