The City of Toledo is seeking a qualified contractor to completely upgrade the kitchen and both men’s and women’s restroom facilities at the Chester Zablocki Community Center, ensuring full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The work includes demolition of existing finishes, installation of new FRP wall panels, new ADA‑compliant fixtures, full kitchen cabinet and countertop replacement, removal of outdated hood and fire‑suppression systems, and all required utility, plumbing, and electrical modifications. The contract is six months in length and will be awarded through an electronic bid process on the PlanetBids portal. • ADA‑compliant restroom renovation: new partitions, toilets, sinks, hand‑dryers, and required accessibility hardware. • Full kitchen remodel: new cabinets (CraftMaid), quartz countertops, commercial‑grade appliances, FRP wall finish, and utility upgrades. • All work must meet prevailing‑ wage and living‑wage requirements, include certified payroll reporting, and be performed under a Project Labor Agreement. • Bid submission is electronic only; a bid guaranty (5 % bond or cashier’s check) and required city paperwork must accompany the bid.
