Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking a contractor to restore and upgrade the Secondary Propulsion Unit Rotary Deployment Mechanism (RDM) at the shipyard. The RDM is a critical component of the ship's propulsion system, and the contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to complete the work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror.
• The contractor must have experience with similar work and be able to demonstrate their capabilities in fulfilling the Statement of Work.
• The contractor must provide a firm fixed price for each line item in the contract.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to safety, health, and environmental protection.
• The contractor must provide a technical proposal that includes responses to the requirements outlined in the solicitation.
• The contractor must provide pricing information, including a copy of their current catalog or established price list for the articles covered by the offer.
