Description
The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a contractor to provide presort mail services, including pick-up, presorting, and delivery of letter-size and light parcel mail to the United States Postal Service. The contract term is from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. The contractor must have experience sorting similar types of mail and must provide a secured facility for DMV property storage and processing. The contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and maintain various insurance coverages.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to worker's compensation and unemployment insurance.
• The contractor must provide a detailed description of their experience and qualifications in providing presort mail services.
• The contractor must provide proof of DVBE certification for each DVBE identified.
• The contractor must comply with the DVBE program requirements and supplier checklist.
