TMU Bottle Recertification, Modification, Beyond Economical Repair

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division is seeking a contractor to provide recertification, modification, and beyond economical repair services for Temperature Management Unit (TMU) bottles. The contractor will be responsible for hydrostatic testing, overhaul, and modification of the TMU bottles, as well as providing documentation and certification of the work performed. The services will be provided in accordance with manufacturing standards and industry specifications. Some key points to consider are: • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to do business with the federal government. • The contractor will be required to provide a capability statement that clearly indicates their experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work. • The contractor will be responsible for delivering the recertified, modified, or beyond economical repair TMU bottles within the specified timeframe (60 or 120 days after receipt of Government Furnished Property). • The contractor will be required to provide documentation describing the unrepairable condition of the beyond economical repair bottles.
