Description
The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to replace the sewer lateral line at Boulder Beach Housing Unit 402 and 403. The project involves removing and replacing approximately 280 linear feet of 3-inch ductile iron sewer lateral with 4-inch SDR 35 PVC sewer pipe. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, demolition, trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and surface restoration. The project must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations. The key tasks include:
• Mobilizing tools, equipment, and personnel to the site
• Coordinating site access and utility locates with NPS
• Protecting adjacent infrastructure and utilities
• Demolishing and removing existing sewer lateral
• Excavating trenches and installing new pipe
• Connecting new pipe to existing sewer main
• Testing and inspecting the new system
• Restoring disturbed surfaces to pre-construction condition
