Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) Sustainment / Production Hardware

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is seeking information from industry regarding the Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) sustainment and production hardware. The SSDS program provides tactical combat system processing, storage, and networking systems equipment for installation on U.S. Navy amphibious ships and aircraft carriers. The contractor will be responsible for providing sustainment, procurement, and production of SSDS hardware, as well as resolving Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and obsolescence issues. The contractor will also be required to maintain a warehouse facility, perform repairs, and provide technical documentation and support. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have a facility security clearance level of SECRET. • The contractor must provide a company profile, including company name, address, point of contact, email address, telephone number, business category, number of employees, and CAGE code. • The contractor must submit a written response limited to 10 pages or less, with 1-inch margins and 10-point Times New Roman font or larger. • The contractor must possess a facility security clearance level of SECRET and ensure that all personnel coming into contact with classified material hold a valid SECRET clearance and are U.S. citizens exclusively.
