Eligible projects include public improvement projects and facility projects that involve either publicly owned facilities or facilities owned by a nonprofit organization. The Citizens’ Advisory Board (CAB) has established funding priorities, including infrastructure improvements and shelter and housing needs. • The CDBG program provides funding for housing, public facilities, public improvements, and community facility activities that improve living conditions in low-income areas or for low-income residents of Pierce County. • Public Facilities Projects must involve either publicly owned facilities or facilities and improvements traditionally provided by the government or owned by a nonprofit organization. • The total value of this procurement is $1,000,000 in Community Development Block Grant program funds. • Significant priority will be given to agencies requesting two-hundred fifty thousand ($250,000) or more. • The County anticipates that no more than four projects shall be awarded funds from this procurement.
