Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways is seeking bids for the mowing, trimming, and litter removal of roadside turf on highway right-of-way areas along the Louie Nunn Parkway in various counties within Districts 3, 8, and 11. The work includes three full cycles of mowing, trimming, and litter removal, with specific start dates for each cycle. The contractor will be required to provide equipment, labor, and materials to perform the work, and will be paid based on the actual quantity of work performed. The contract will be for a period of 240 days, with the possibility of extension.
• The contractor will be responsible for mowing, trimming, and litter removal on designated routes, including roadsides, interchanges, and medians.
• The contractor will be required to provide traffic control devices and maintain traffic during work operations.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations governing safety.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and maintain insurance coverage throughout the contract term.
