E-6B Subsystems Sustained Mission Readiness (SMR) Subsystems Service Life Assessment Program (SSLAP)

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking capability statements from interested parties to support the Sustained Mission Readiness (SMR) of the E-6B aircraft. The requirement includes Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), repair/replacement procedure development, and upgrade/installations for subsystems, structural corrosion, and structural fatigue. The contractor will be required to conduct a Subsystems Service Life Assessment Program (SSLAP), a Subsystem Service Life Extension Program (SSLEP), and a Damage Tolerance Analysis (DTA). Key tasks include evaluating service life drivers, performing life assessments, identifying areas for modification, and providing ranking of dispositions. • The contractor must demonstrate their ability to provide necessary personnel, facilities, technical data, and equipment to perform the tasks. • The contractor must have experience with Service Life Assessment and Extension Programs for large, fixed-wing aircraft and completion of Damage Tolerance Analysis for fatigue limits. • The contractor must be able to obtain technical data from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of subsystem components and the airframe. • The contractor must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database with a DUNS number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code.
