Description
The City of Saco is seeking a qualified contractor to supply and place hot‑mix asphalt throughout the city for the period April 1 2026 through April 1 2027. The contract covers machine‑placed and picked‑up HMA in three gradations (9.5 mm, 12.5 mm, 19 mm), as well as related services such as cold patch, curb mix, sidewalk, parking lot and driveway paving, milling, full‑depth reclaiming (with and without cement), and tack‑coat application. Bidders must submit unit prices for each item, meet insurance and equipment standards, and comply with MUTCD traffic‑control requirements.
• Scope includes up to ~13,000 tons of HMA and associated milling/reclaiming work across city streets, parking lots, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Required documentation: bid response form, insurance certificates, plant location, and references.
• Submission deadline is 1:00 PM on March 25 2026; public opening will occur at the same time and location.
