Utility Line Locates

The City of Denton is seeking a contractor to provide utility line locating services for the city's electric, fiber optic, water, and wastewater facilities. The contractor will be responsible for receiving and responding to locate requests, marking facilities, and providing daily reports to the city. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must comply with all state, federal, and local regulations. The contract will be awarded based on experience, qualifications, and cost proposal. • The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience and must have a controlled substance testing policy for technicians and assistants. • Staff must pass background checks as required for secure city areas. • The contractor must provide a detailed breakdown of all associated costs, including hourly labor rates, travel fees, and parts. • The contractor must demonstrate compliance with the stated specification(s) in this Scope of Work and provide a timeline and response process when service is requested. • The contractor must provide a copy of their annual US Department of Labor OSHA 300 Logs and safety manual.
