Shannon Street Waterline Project

The Shannon Street Waterline Project entails the installation of approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 6‑inch water service line in the Town of Sharon, including tie‑ins to existing infrastructure, installation of valves, fittings, and hydrants, reconnection of existing services, and abandonment of the old line. Funding is partially provided by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority Basic Infrastructure Program. This is a classic design‑bid‑build procurement suitable for contractors experienced in water‑utility construction and related civil works. • Install ~1,000 LF of 6” water main with associated appurtenances (valves, fittings, hydrants). • Tie‑in to existing water lines and reconnect customer services. • Abandon, plug, and remove old water line. • Coordination with Catawba Regional Council of Governments and compliance with SC Rural Infrastructure Authority requirements.
