MUNICIPAL AUDITOR AND/OR FINANCIAL ADVISOR SERVICES

The City of East Orange is seeking a municipal auditor and/or financial advisor to provide services including statutory audit of accounts and records, tests of internal controls and compliance with statutory requirements, performance of a federal and state single audit, preparation of the City's audited statutory financial statements, review of annual budget, accounting and tax guidance, and financial and budgetary advice and analysis. The contract term will be for one year. The City is looking for a qualified candidate with experience in providing similar services, a strong understanding of financial management and accounting principles, and the ability to perform the task in a timely fashion. • Key services to be provided: statutory audit, internal controls and compliance testing, federal and state single audit, financial statement preparation, budget review, accounting and tax guidance, and financial and budgetary advice and analysis • Contract term: one year • Evaluation criteria: qualifications, experience and references, performance, and cost consideration • Required forms and documents: statement of qualifications, non-collusion affidavit, owner disclosure certification, insurance requirement acknowledgement, equal opportunity and affirmative action compliance, professional service entity information, qualification affidavit, submission form, disclosure of investment activities in Iran, and statement of indebtedness
