Description
The Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, intends to award a sole-source purchase order for polyurethane 17925 untinted white Zenthane Plus. The required product must meet specific criteria, including a shelf life of no less than 14 months, and must be delivered within 30 days of award. The contractor must provide a current Safety Data Sheet and Technical Data Sheet, which will be evaluated by the Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD) before awarding the contract.
• The product must be a two-component, high-gloss, untinted white polyurethane coating, conforming to MIL-PRF-85285, Type I, Class H, Form M.
• The product must have a pot life of several days, minimizing waste and providing flexibility for technicians to delay work if needed.
• The product must be available in short-filled kits, allowing the paint to be mixed within the manufacturer's container, eliminating the need for separate mixing vessels.
• The product must meet the required criteria, including spray ability, hiding power, and durability, to ensure high-quality results and minimize defects.
