Lead Acid Batteries

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to purchase lead acid batteries from multiple manufacturers in support of the WPB-87 and WPC-154 Coast Guard cutters. The purchase will include various types of batteries with different estimated annual demands. The USCG has provided a list of the required batteries, including their NSN, OEM/Part Number, and estimated annual demand. • The list includes 15 different types of batteries from various manufacturers such as EAST PENN, ENERSYS, NOVA POWER, POWERSONIC, and POWERSTAR. • The estimated annual demands for the batteries range from 2 to 375 units. • The USCG is seeking to purchase these batteries to support their Coast Guard cutters.
