Description
The Toll Highway Authority is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the Tri-State Tollway (I-94) between Mile Post 24.3 and Mile Post 25.0 and Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Mile Post 43.3 and Mile Post 49.9 in Cook County and Lake County, Illinois. The work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, bridge deck overlay at two bridges, rehabilitation work at three bridges, median pier crash wall improvements, incidental roadway and shoulder rehabilitation work, drainage improvements, erosion control, pavement marking and installation, maintenance of traffic, and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous construction shown on the plans and within these special provisions.
• The contract is expected to start on or about July 20, 2026, and be completed by December 11, 2026.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams.
• Bidders must be registered as a small business in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) at the time bids are due.
• The contract has a BEP/VBP participation goal of 19% and 2.5%, respectively.
