Description
Burnet County is seeking sealed bids for the removal and disposal of asbestos and lead abatement at 127 E. Jackson. The project includes the removal of window glazing/caulking and lead on the front of the building. Bidders must provide labor and materials necessary for the removal of asbestos-containing materials, transportation, and disposal of the material in accordance with state, local, federal, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• The project requires the removal of window glazing/caulking – 50 SF and removal of lead on the front of the building only.
• The bid shall include all specified items and be submitted in accordance with the bid documents.
• The bidder must be knowledgeable of all addenda issued and shall acknowledge all addenda in spaces provided on the bid form.
• The bid must include a bid guaranty in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid.
• Performance and payment bonds are required if the bid exceeds $100,000.
• The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informality in any bid or solicitation procedure.
